My being out of town did not make it the easiest to post. Saying it's been a crazy week is an understatement. An earthquake, then hurricane which has thus led to me being stuck down south. Not that I would normally complain, but over a week away is longer than I have been away in a while. I am exhausted and ready to be back at the beach in my boring routine I have seemed to find comfort in.
In order to pass the time in the airport I have been perusing some blogs and came across these images I loved.

Finally checked something off my too do list that has been building for months and months now. I have stacks of magazines and pages ripped out that are starting to pile up. In order to condense some of it I compiled recipes I have tried out, or have been wanting to try out, into a noteboook. I am loving having my own personalized cookbook.

This week has brought some exciting news, my brother, and his now fiance, Amanda, got engaged. I'm so happy for them and and so happy Amanda will become a part of our family.

The day Brent proposed I met them at the White Marlin Open, a huge fishing tournament, to have a drink in celebration.
